I can’t believe The Magician’s Daughter caravan is about to come to a stop. What a tour we’ve had. So many smiling faces, so many wonderful places…alchemy and magic at every port.

Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart for coming out to see us in the far-flung corners of Australia. And for those of you we are yet to see, can’t wait to rock the final few shows.

Bring it on WA – go you hometown good things and my people of the south-west! And as for you Melbourne, cannot wait to return and test the waters at the Caravan Music Club. Come and say HI!

To celebrate the final few shows, we have a couple of exciting announcements.

Lovely fellow lady of the west Ruby Boots has just been added as the first support for our Fly By Night show on May 30. Don’t miss this woman playing solo.

Gorgeous Spender also joins us for the last shows in WA – we’ll be sad to say goodbye. You are in for a treat people of the westside.

For our recently added Melbourne show - June 6 at Caravan Music Club - we have the spectacular Jess Ribeiro & the Bone Collectors opening for us. So hot!

BUT…most excitingly…we have a hot new competition with prizes GALORE to say thank you for showing us so much love on the road.

Ladies and gents, we present the Magic Moments competition. All you have to do is upload a pic that defines your “Magic Moment”, share it with your friends and encourage them to vote for your entry. We’ll have a people’s choice prize and I’ll select my favourites too. I love magical pics! Cannot wait to see yours.

The Magician’s Daughter is officially released TODAY! Hurrah.

Thank you to all of you who pre-ordered the album. I was so chuffed to have such a large pile of albums to sign. It has been a rollercoaster of emotion, mini breakdowns and great breakthroughs in the lead-up to the release of my second album. But I have to say I have truly felt the love from all corners, most especially from you all. You are the most joyous and supportive music lovers around. Thank you.

We’ve also been pumped with the response from radio with The Magician’s Daughter scoring Album of the Week on ABC Radio National , ABC Radio NT and ABC Dig to name but a few! Exciting stuff.

Now we go forth to the next phase…sharing the new songs in the live arena. We cannot wait to get out there to see you very soon.

Good work to those of you who have already snapped up tickets. For the stragglers amongst you, don’t delay…tickets are selling fast!

You can purchase The Magician’s Daughter from all good record stores… If they don’t have it you can ask them to order it through MGM distribution. For those of you not in Australia your best bet is our web store.

Hope this finds you smiling through 2012.

Can’t believe it is already February, but with the new month comes gigs, studio time and fun announcements.

Freo friends, cannot wait to see you all TOMORROW at the Fly By Night. Tickets are still available here so be sure to snap one up and join us and the Big Old Bears.

I’ve been plonking out some new songs as I journey towards my second album – scary, thrilling and inspiring all at once. Can’t wait to share.

But for now, here come the fun gig announcements!

Sydneysiders, it’s your turn on April 14 at Camelot. Have heard so much about this great venue, can’t wait to play there. Get your tickets here.

You may have also heard the news that we are joining John Butler on his solo and intimate Tin Shed Tales Tour. Very exciting!

Happy 2012…I’m dubbing it 2000andDelve! Here’s to a big one.

The year is off to a great start and I’ve already clocked some serious studio time to work on some new songs. Very exciting. Stay tuned for more news. Can’t wait to share.

Until then, we have a string of great shows coming up. First up, we’re kickstarting the year with a free show in Melbourne before playing a big homecoming gig in Freo. Here are the details of our upcoming shows:

Mama on tour with The Cat Empire

Fresh from a kick-ass tour of North America, team Mama Kin is poised to jet-set once more. That’s right folks, get ready, ‘cos Mama Kin is hitting the road with The Cat Empire all over Europe THIS November. We are so thrilled to be joining the lovely Cat boys on the road once more. Can hardly believe it has been a year since our last adventures.

The tour kicks off in Paris (we’re travelling in a motorhome!) and takes us all through Europe from France to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Track us down, come and play, and most of all, tell your friends. Look out:

WA soulstress Mama Kin is a force to be reckoned with. Fresh from a rollicking tour of North America, including dates with The John Butler Trio and stellar performances at Ottawa Bluesfest and Rocky Mountains Folks Festival, Mama Kin returns home for a run of festival appearances and a headline show at Mullumbimby Civic Hall.

Mama Kin plays Bellingen Global Carnival (September 30 and October 1) and the Great Southern Blues Festival (October 2) in Batemans Bay, and she’s coming to Mullumbimby for one night only with special guest Ilona Harker (www.ilonaharker.com).

Already a festival favourite at the annual Mullum Music Festival, Mama Kin returns with her foot-stomping blend of New Orleans soul. It’s not often this real-life mama makes it to the east coast, so be sure to catch her when you can.
